All Diatomaceous Earth is not the same.

Q: First of all, what the heck is Diatomaceous Earth?

A: Well, if you are like most people, you think it is something for the swimming pool filter. If you guessed that, you are partly right. Diatomaceous earth (DE) is used in pool filters. But it is also used in toothpaste, paint, sand paper, cat litter and dynomite. But there are different types of DE. The type we offer is the edible kind, it is natural and organic. It is used for humans, animals, and plants. We even mix some up with the extract of flowers and it is the most effective natural insecticide you can get. We're not allowed to call it "safe", but I can tell you that you can apply it to crops up to the day of harvest, and you don't have to wash it off before you eat it. Pretty cool, huh?
