Family Cat seriously ill... suspect
Demand CS
I am wondering if you would please help me- Have you ever heard of any
cases where a domestic cat can be poisoned by the use of pyrethroids that have
been sprayed in a home to kill carpenter ants? Our cat was not in the home
until 4 days after the perimeter of our home, bathroom(where the ants were
found) and basement top perimeter had been sprayed- and now, two weeks later-
he got very sick and could not keep any food down. He had to have surgery
yesterday to take out what the vet was convinced was a blockage- and she found
nothing. So- we still don't know whay he was sick- and he is still
in the
hospital. I am suspicious of the poison- the product that they used is called
Demand CS- a micro encapsulated lambdosyhelothren of the pyrethrate family.
our vet says she does not think it was that- but I am not so sure. Any help
you could give us would be so greatly appreciated. I have a very sick baby
cat. Ollie is 12 lbs, and! 3 years old. Thank you again-

The
deaths and injuries keep piling up. Our pets and children die daily from
cancers and other diseases.
Most doctors are not aware of the
growing body of research on the effects of these
poisons.
